So we recommend you to plan your Jaipur travel schedule for atleast 5 days.

On the first day of your Jaipur travel, take your breakfast at your hotel and then leave the hotel at maximum 8 a.m. for outing. It is best to visit Amer fort, Jagat Shiromani Mandir, Panna Miyan Kund, Bihari ji ka Mandir, some old Havelis and small temples around Amer fort on first day of your Jaipur travel. If you really love heritage places to visit, you will find these sites more than enough to visit in one day. Must keep your camera with you to take unforgettable photographs at these sites with sufficient battery back up and memory back up. Architectural excellence, amazing stone carving work, fresco paintings, awesome hill views, and Jaipur city views are the main subjects to click in your camera at these sites which may not last but your time, camera battery and camera memory cards may! Take your lunch meanwhile in any good restaurant in Amer. At the time of returning in evening, you can enjoy Jal Mahal for an hour or more. This trip is sufficient to exhaust you and you must need proper rest with nice dinner and long sleep at your hotel.

On the second day of your Jaipur travel, again take your breakfast at your hotel and leave the hotel at same 8 a.m. maximum. Now you can visit Nahargarh fort and Jaigarh fort on second day of your Jaipur travel. If you finish your trip before lunch, you can take your lunch at your hotel or at any good restaurant in the market. If you need some rest, then better to return to hotel for 2-3 hours. In evening, you can go for shopping and also can enjoy wandering in Jaipur city to understand the culture and meet local people of Jaipur. Return back to your hotel till 8 or 9 p.m. and take proper rest, because your third day could be an hectic day and you may have to start little early.

On the third day of your Jaipur travel, we recommend you to take heavy breakfast and leave your hotel till 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. at maximum. You should visit Govind Dev ji Mandir in early morning (because the best time to visit Hindu temples is early morning). Here you ask your Jaipur travel guide to let you visit the whole temple rather then visit only the worship place of temple. In morning time, you can find many people offering eatables to the herds of monkeys and cows because of religious faith. It is amazing to capture those scenes in your camera. At the back side of Govind dev ji temple, you will find wonderful view of Nahargarh fort which you visited on second day of your Jaipur travel schedule. In addition to this, ask your travel guide to let you see a wonder tree in Govind dev ji temple which has branches of three different trees from one trunk!

After visiting Govind dev ji temple, you must leave for City Palace. It is the best palace of Jaipur. Royal family still reside in one part of the palace. Give sufficient time to visit City Palace because it is the best of your Jaipur travel schedule. Amazing architecture, wonderful stone carving work, paintings, small museum, designer gates will mesmerize you! Be sure to complete it between 12 and 1'o clock. Hawa Mahal - the palace of winds, Jantar Mantar - a world heritage site, and Isarlat will be your next travel destinations on the third day of your Jaipur travel. Entry in most of the monuments in Jaipur closes at 5:00 p.m. This is the reason that we recommended you to start your third day little bit early so that you can cover lot of places which are near to each other in one day. Now you have 2 days left in your hand for travel Jaipur.

On fourth day of your Jaipur travel, you can again start by 8:00 a.m. and plan for sightseeing till lunch only. You can see Moti Doongri Ganesh temple, Birla temple and Albert Hall Museum on fourth day of your Jaipur travel. Then you can return to your hotel, take lunch and rest for some time. Second half of the day, you can spend for shopping in wandering in the streets of Jaipur as the second day of your travel schedule. You should go to bed early on fourth day, because you have to start your day by 5:30 a.m. next morning!

Fifth day, you must visit Galta - the Hindu pilgrimage site at early morning. Ask your travel guide or hotel staff to let you know the time of sun rise in Jaipur on that day. In summer, its approximately between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. whereas in winters, its approximately between 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Ask your Jaipur travel guide to let you visit Sun temple at the top of the hill of Galta pilgrimage from where you can witness unforgettable sun rise from the mountains! In addition to this, you can see the herds of monkeys jumping and bathing in Galta kund (pond) in summer. After visiting Galta pilgrimage, you can go for street walk in Jaipur in morning. This is the time when the traffic is not much on the roads of the old Jaipur city and you can see and click the pink glory of Jaipur city because of which it is known as "Pink City of India". Then after, you can travel Gar Ganesh temple and the cenotaphs of Gaitor till lunch easily. After lunch, you can utilize your time as per your choice, i.e. take rest, shopping, visit old Jaipur city, travel modern Jaipur, visit any good astrologer (astrology of Jaipur is world famous) or can enjoy street food etc.

1. Check festivals calendar before reaching to Jaipur and ask your Jaipur travel guide to participate in the festival, if any.

2. Must enjoy Elephant ride at Amer fort. It is one of the best travel attractions of Jaipur.

3. 1. Don't offer tips to monument and fort staff during your Jaipur travel.

2. Don't hire taxi or auto rickshaw without proper bargaining. Hire prepaid auto rickshaw wherever possible.

3. Don't purchase any item in hurry from any shop. Check the item properly. Negotiate for price properly. If possible check the local reputation of that shop, specially before purchasing any costly item or jewelry. Scams are very obvious across the world at tourist places.
