About Jaipur

Jaipur, popularly known as the "Pink City", and "Paris of India", is the capital of Rajasthan state, India. Jaipur has a domestic airport. Flights reached here from across India. There are frequent flights to and from Delhi.

Jaipur is also connected with rest of India with Indian Railways. Super fast trains are also available to and from Delhi so that you can reach Jaipur from Delhi in approximately 5 hours by train.

Direct Bus services from Delhi and many other states of India are also available for Jaipur. In addition to this, Jaipur is well connected with whole Rajasthan with bus services. Air conditioned, luxury, sleeper, 2x2 coach, deluxe and many other categories of buses are available to and from Jaipur.

Prepaid taxi counter is available at Jaipur airport. Prepaid auto rickshaw counters are there at Jaipur Railway Station (Jaipur Junction) and Jaipur Bus Stand (Sindhi Camp). For sightseeing and excursion tour, private taxi services are also available.

  • Hire private taxi for sightseeing or excursion tour is most preferable.

  • Hire prepaid auto rickshaw is most preferable for travel short distances because its cheaper. Please note, "Prepaid" auto rickshaw is most preferable to avoid paying very much or negotiations.

  • Cycle rickshaw is wonderful transport for moving around old wall city and watching heritage of Jaipur city in early morning when the streets of Jaipur are less crowded.

  • You will also find Tanga (Tonga, a light horse-drawn carriage used for transportation) at some places in Jaipur, i.e. Statue circle and Ram Niwas Garden. If it is new experience for you, then must enjoy it.
