India is celebrating its 66th Independence day on August 15, 2012. India has a long history and struggle story to get independent. It was August 15, 1947 when India became independent and the own consitution came in force on January 26, 1950.

There is a remarkable growth in the economy of India in last 65 years. But, there is also the one more side of the coin. Many villages of India are still struggling for basic needs, i.e. drinking water, food, education and development. A huge percentage of the residents of villages of India is below poverty line. The photo is telling the story of struggle of those Indian brothers and sisters who are struggling for daily bread and butter.
